Self-contained LED marine lanterns powered by solar energy are the most suitable solution for marking up to 10 NM of nominal range. Due to the efficiency of the LED light source optics, self-contained lanterns are compact and sealed units, easy to handle and use. The user does not have to move or manipulate the lantern in the field for its programming and control, but it is done via IR or Bluetooth. With an all-round beam, these marine lanterns incorporate the entire operating system with flasher, solar controller, photovoltaic panel and battery.
