Sabik has recently launched a new light source for Fresnel optics SLU-24 / SLU-36. This unit, developed in conjunction with Trinity House, is the most reliable and energy efficient solution on the market to replace the incandescent light source in historical lighthouses. The unit is suitable for use in rotating optics or all-round Fresnel optics (flashers).

This light source has a capacity of up to 24 NM (T = 0.74) and its function is to operate inside Fresnel lenses, replacing current incandescent lamps thanks to its reliability and low consumption. The set is compact, easy to install and maintain with a variety of options, such as choosing between warm or cold white light, on / off by its own photocell, flash rythm and intensity adjustment during day and night. The unit is designed to work with solar energy and integrates a 16AMP PWM regulator, in addition to having a 365-day event memory, and can optionally be equipped with GPS synchronization and remote monitoring.
