Lindley supplied the new floating passenger pier on Farol Island, in the municipality of Faro, replacing the previous metal structure with a new concrete floating system, offering greater durability and lower maintenance.
The main goal of this intervention was to improve access conditions for residents, tourists, and maritime operators to the island, with a particular focus on safety, comfort, and infrastructure longevity.
The project is the result of a collaboration between the Ports Administration of Sines and Algarve (APS) and the Municipality of Faro, under a protocol aimed at upgrading maritime access to the barrier islands of the Ria Formosa.
