New tourist pier in Câmara de Lobos

The Administration of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (APRAM, SA) inaugurates a new floating pier, located in the bay of Câmara de Lobos, in Madeira. The pier has been supplied and installed by Lindley to enhance the activities of maritime-tourism companies in that bay. The old pier showed natural signs of degradation, due to exposure to maritime agitation.

The floating steel structure, Sagres HD model, measures 12x2.5 meters, and the mooring system is secured by wall beams. The pier also features an articulated ALPS bridge of 12x1.0 meters, facilitating user access safely and comfortably. The infrastructure has also been equipped with an LED floor lighting module.

With these improvements, the new pier reinforces APRAM's commitment to providing high-quality facilities for its residents and tourists, promoting maritime activity and local development.
