The Port of Castropol upgrades its nautical infrastructure

The Government of the Principality of Asturias has selected Almarin for the improvement of the pontoon at the Port of Castropol, located on the eastern bank of the Eo estuary. The previous structure has been removed and replaced by this new module, manufactured by Lindley, which is twelve meters long and specially designed for rowing activities by members of the local Club de Mar.

The pontoon, built in aluminum, has been designed to integrate perfectly with the existing infrastructure, avoiding the need for drilling into the pontoon profile. It also features a low freeboard, between 25 and 30 cm, which facilitates water access and optimizes functionality for users. The removed elements have been transported to the Puertos del Estado facilities of the Principality of Asturias in San Esteban de Pravia.
