The river beach of Sabugal, renovated and with a new dock

As part of the project "Works to recover the banks of the Côa between Pontes," the Sabugal City Council has just inaugurated a floating infrastructure for canoes and kayaks. The aim is to preserve and enhance the identity of the space, as well as to revitalize the area. Lindley, through Cubos Beira, the contractor for the project, was the company responsible for supplying and installing the aluminum dock model Faro, with a total length of 30 meters. Lindley added a 10-meter long step with a 240 mm freeboard in front of the access gangway to facilitate use for canoes and kayaks.

The mooring system was designed with anchor rods. Auxiliary elements such as a steel ladder and an emergency tower have been installed for increased safety.
