First official Access Class regatta

The first official Access Class regatta took place on March 13 and 14. This initiative, carried out by the Faro Naval Club Gymnasium with the support of the Ilha de Faro Nautical Center, was won by sailor Fernando Pinto. The adapted sail is a project that Lindley has supported since its foundation in Portugal, having even developed and adapted some equipment for this purpose, as is the case of the pontoon that supported this regatta. It is an innovative solution, designed by Lindley specifically for sailing and rowing clubs, using the Dockit Nordic pine system. This wharf, with a "T" configuration, consists of 48 meters of walkway and 18 meters of mooring, including a lowered step along its entire length, which allows and facilitates the mooring of boats. The facility is also equipped with an Access-type crane that allows its use for adapted navigation.
