Lindley installed a floating pontoon for a resort in Mussulo, Angola
07-01-2014
Lindley, company from Grupo Lindley specialised in floating equipment for marinas, leisure dock and fishing harbours, completed recently a turn-key job for a residential resort in Luanda.
The whole work, started in July and finished in November, included the design, manufacturing, supply and installation of an infrastructure for a private pier for a 70’ motor yacht and other visiting boats. The berthing pontoon is 24m long and 5m wide, moored on piles and completed with pedestals for electricity and water. The access to the pontoon from the central house is made via a 2.5m wide pedestrian walkway which evolves along the beach to water line for a distance of nearly 200m; the pedestrian deck is built on a painted steel structure, exotic timber deck and perimetral fence. Two intermediate zones with approximately 65sqm each, covered with stylish awnings, provide shaded areas for leisure and rest. The entire length of the deck is equipped with LED embedded lights.
The project was developed in partnership with the general contractor incorporating the ideas and requirements of the end customer in order to suit the requirements to the structural needs of the project and location.
