New floating dock of the RO-RO ramp in Port of Aveiro

The equipment chosen for this installation is part of the Sagres HD range with a reinforced galvanized steel structure

The floating dock for the RO-RO ramp at the Port of Aveiro was completed in January 2011. The equipment chosen for this installation is part of the Sagres HD range with a reinforced galvanized steel structure. The choice of this type of equipment is subject to the characteristics of the vessels that will moor at this quay which, due to their size and weight, will induce significant stresses on the pontoons. The mooring of the pier is carried out using 'dukes of alba' piles.
