Construction of the Porto Carvoeiro dock in Portugal

The Santa Maria da Feira City Council has completed the construction of a new dock in Porto Carvoeiro. Lindley, through Hydrostone as the main contractor, has supplied and installed the floating pontoon, which is over 70 meters long.

The pontoon consists of two access walkways and ten fingers. The security gates have a card reader to restrict access. Tubular galvanized steel arms, 11 meters long, have been used for anchoring. The pontoon also features service pedestals for water, electricity, and emergency services, as well as rescue ladders.

This new infrastructure promotes the navigability of tourist boats in this area of the Duero River.
